Welcome

This is homework productions, the place where I release some of the code I wrote, assuming it might be useful for other people.

Some products are quite simple, some are rather old and lack some programming experience, some of them are not as finished as they could be and with some I'm pretty satisfied in their current state. But all of them were at least either fun to write for learning or playing around or really, really useful to me and others. I hope you might benefit from them, too.

SQLAlchemy 0.5 is out!

SQLAlchemy

The long wait is finally over: After four release candidates, zzzeek rolled out SQLAlchemy 0.5 today.

Check out the news and get it while it's hot!

Along with many improvements and new features comes an updated documentation, built with Sphinx (I'll take this chance to proclaim that reStructuredText and docutils really rock, too!).

If you're already familiar with SQLAlchemy and still want to get much more out of it, be sure to check out Armin's in-depth explanations on the sophisticated usage in his recently released Python blog software, Zine.

ALA Asks Again

Survey 2008

Looks like I heard of it a little late, although I've recently been to their site a few times: A List Apart has created a second survey after 2007 to find out more about "people who make websites". The results will be published after the survey closes - which is tomorrow, August 26th.

As with last year, I took part in it. And you should, too (quick!). Damn, that's almost what that button says. It obviously is a good one.

Here you are: The survey for people who make websites 2008
